In this interactive audio installation, arts collective Kinokophone explore the idea of sounds as art objects -- as sonic specimen to be preserved, displayed, experienced and shared.

The exhibition features archived field recordings submitted to the Kinokophone collective from around the globe, alongside two specifically commissioned pieces -- Weaves and Our Future is in the Air -- by field recordists/sound artists Jez riley French and Coryn Smethurst.

The exhibition invites visitors to selectively listen to each of these sound works using the dials, index cards, and switches specimen box listening booths which have been created especially for the exhibition by designer Cherie Taylor.
